Crystal Lagoon
A deep, cliff-walled pool round the corner from the Blue Lagoon, reached through a cave arch and closed to anything with a keel.
Crystal Lagoon sits on the far side of the headland from the Blue Lagoon, and the two could not be less alike. Where the Blue Lagoon is white sand under a metre or two of water, this is a shaft of very deep blue enclosed by vertical rock, entered through an arch in the cliff.
That arch is the whole point and the whole limitation. It is low and narrow — small boats, tenders and kayaks pass through it, a chartered yacht does not. Most crewed trips anchor outside and run people in by tender, or swim them in. If getting inside matters to you, that is a question to ask the operator before you book rather than a thing to discover on the day.
It is a stop rather than a destination. Nobody spends an afternoon here, because there is nowhere to be except in the water.
