Boat charter from Mġarr, Gozo

Mġarr is Gozo's harbour, on the south-east corner of the island, and the point where the ferry from Malta arrives. It is the main departure point on the Gozo side, and starting here puts Comino and the Gozo coast within far easier reach than a Malta departure does — the crossing a Malta-based charter spends part of its morning on is already behind you. Boats lie in the harbour itself; the operator gives the berth and the meeting time.

Mġarr is on Gozo, not Malta. If you are staying on Malta, allow for the Ċirkewwa ferry — roughly 25 minutes crossing, plus the drive to the terminal and queueing in summer. Budget around half a day either side, or charter from a Malta marina instead.
